If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Cut fresh tomatoes( you can blanch and peel skin but you dont have too)
cook 10 min, 100 degress, speed 1
puree to desired consistency (remove puree and put in jar. if to preserve, seal jar and turn upside down and seal will expand)
clean bowl
add onion and garlic and chop 3 seconds speed 7
add oil and saute 2 minutes, 100 degrees spped 1
add tomato puree, sugar and salt and pepper
cook 20 min, 120 degrees speed 1-2

Tip
If you want a thick sauce remove mc and place simmering basket to allow evaporation.
as an alternative to sugar you could add sweet chilli sauce to add a kick.

Just noted that the recipe calls for Tomato paste and oil but neither of thesse are mentioned in the ingredients list. The instructions are a little fuzzy
