Custard
- 30 g cornflour
- Zest 1 orange
- 60 g Rapadura or Raw Sugar
- 100 g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 500 g Milk
- 2 eggs
- Dash Cointreau, (optional)

Recipe's preparation
Place cornflour, orange zest and sugar into mixing bowl and mill 10 sec/speed 10.
Add chocolate and mill 8 sec/speed 10.
Add remaining ingredients and cook 7 min/80C/speed 4.
For a thicker consistency, cook for a further 1 min/100C/speed 4.

I Didn't have oranges so used 4 drops of Orange Essential Oil - GAME CHANGER!! This was so delicious. I also didn't have any corn flour but subbed it for Arrowroot powder (equal amounts) and there was no issues with the consistency. Such a yummy recipe!!

Yum! A delicious quick dessert for a cold night. I used milk chocolate melts and 50g raw sugar and it was sweet! I might decrease the sugar a little further next time if using milk chocolate.

wonderful recipe. Enjoyed by all. We couldnt eat a whole lot of it because it was very rich. We might try using milk chocolate next time. I will also add about 50ml more milk to thin the consistency a little as we like thinner custards.

This is brilliantly delicious. My sister even made it dairy free and egg free by using the 70% dark choc, using soya milk, and leaving the eggs out completely and it set to mousse consistency and was a hit all round.

Made this with 4 tsp drinking chocolate instead of the dark chocolate. Also zest of 1/2 a large orange. Delicious.
