I Didn't have oranges so used 4 drops of Orange Essential Oil - GAME CHANGER!! This was so delicious. I also didn't have any corn flour but subbed it for Arrowroot powder (equal amounts) and there was no issues with the consistency. Such a yummy recipe!!

Everyone loved it, went beautifully served alongside mudcake!

Didn't need to do step for 4 as it was so thick already. Didn't fall/slip off the spatula when it was lifted out of the bowl.

Yum! A delicious quick dessert for a cold night. I used milk chocolate melts and 50g raw sugar and it was sweet! I might decrease the sugar a little further next time if using milk chocolate.

wonderful recipe.  Enjoyed by all.  We couldnt eat a whole lot of it because it was very rich.  We might try using milk chocolate next time.  I will also add about 50ml more milk to thin the consistency a little as we like thinner custards.

    Submitted by alkababba on 15. April 2014 - 16:26.

This is brilliantly delicious. My sister even made it dairy free and egg free by using the 70% dark choc, using soya milk, and leaving the eggs out completely and it set to mousse consistency and was a hit all round.

Tasted great..... made it as a chocolate custard without the orange, but found I had to cook for a couple minutes longer as it was way too runny, but it does say that in the recipe. Saved in my favourites tmrc_emoticons.;)
