      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

    Add sugars first, thennadd all other ingredients

    and mix for 15seconds onspeed 9 to purée.Cook for 55mins at 100C on speed 1. for a further 16mins on Varoma speed 1.Pour into sterilised warm jars and seal immediately.  Allow to set outside of refrigerator.

    Cooked this jam today. I also used Chia seeds instead of setting sugar - didn't know how many grams to replace it with so used 150 grams. Also, used 300 grams of sugar instead of 450 grams. Its still warm in the jars but I tasted some off the spoon and its pretty good.

    We love this. I didn't have the CSR jam setting sugar, but I added chia seeds to naturally thicken it. My 3 year old who is fussy, loves it!
