      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Mayonnaise
  1. Add room temperature ingredients - egg, pepper, salt, mustard and 1tsp of vinegar to the TM bowl and insert the butterfly whisk.  Speed 4. 

    When becomes thick put the MC on the lid and pour the oil on the lid in a slow steady stream, reduce the speed to 2.  This will take about 8mins in total, check that the mayonaise is thick .  Keep the speed at 2 and add the last tsp on vinegar until incorporated.

Can add minced or crushed garlic to taste with the room temp ingredients to make an aoili
