Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop turmeric root on 10, scraping down till fine. Add a capful of water and cook at 100 deg at speed 1 till partially cooked.  Peel and chop paw paw into small cubes and place in TM.  add the juice of 1 -2 lemons.

Cook for 10 mins @ 90Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting

then add sugar and jam setter and cook for an additional 15 mins.

check that the mixture is able to set, if so fill steralised jars to devour later!!!!

lovely on toast, I have used as chutney, would be good in marinade.

    Enjoy.

  2. you could substitute ginger if you don't like the spicey taste of turmeric.

if eating turmeric for inflamation prevention, I suggest having avocado and black pepper on one piece of toast, turmeric jam on the other.
