- 300 g brown onion, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 500 g tomatoes, quatered
- 700 g Tomoatoes, diced
- 1 tsp Peri Peri seasoning

- 1 tsp paprika, smoked
- 70 g Apple cider vinegar
- 1 capsicum red, quatered

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Describe the preparation steps of your recipe
1. Add Onion and Garlic to bowl. "Closed lid" 4s/sp7
2. Add Capsicum. "Closed lid" 4s/sp5
3. scrape down sides
4. Add all other ingredients except diced tomatoes. "Closed lid" 5s/sp4
5. Add diced tomatoes "Closed lid" insert MC cook 30min/Varoma/0.5
6. While salsa is cooking sterilize glass jars.
7. Pour salsa into glass jars, lid and store until required

Tip
If you prefer your salsa thicker cook for an extra 10 minutes and use the TM basket in place of MC.
This is a great salsa for children with a mild spice to it.
