Tip

I have also added Kale to it - combination of basil, rocket, and kale I did successfully up to 100g in total. If mix is too try just add more oil.

This is my go-to dip recipe! It's very forgiving if you're low on an ingredient and always tastes amazing no matter how much you mess with it.

Holy Easter Saturday! I just made this for a BBQ tonight - and it's amazing! I added a green chilli and some red chilli flakes - it given it a great kick. I think it needs all the lemon and vinegar - delicious - will be on HIGH rotation! Oh and I used organic macadamias also as I had no cashews!

  • This dip had a nice texture

    Submitted by JeffnJulie on 25. November 2015 - 18:25.

This dip had a nice texture and was easy to make. The batch size was quite large.  Taste wise, I found this dip to be a bit too lemony/vinegary.   Thanks for the recipe.

  • Really yummy and quick to

    Submitted by mellietopaz on 8. November 2015 - 11:15.

Really yummy and quick to make, I used a combo of baby spinach and rocket (80/20 ratio, didn't weigh exactly!) and only had lemon infused olive oil, so didn't put any lemon juice. was perfect. Thanks for converting the recipe, I hate paying so much for these dips but loooove eating them so much!

    Submitted by SFrawley on 25. March 2015 - 13:17.

    Hi Leonie,

How long can this dip keep for? I am wanting to make it a few days early so that I can take it away on a camping weekend.

    Thanks

  • Delish! This one gets so many

    Submitted by emilynamnik on 27. July 2014 - 13:38.

Delish! This one gets so many compliments and everybody asks for the recipe. To keep the household happy I reduced the lemon juice slightly and didn't add the chilli on the second time round. We've found it's best eaten not the day it's made (which is where the lemon juice is needed I assume?). Thank you for converting the WattleValley dips Leonie, perfectly done!!

Deliciously fresh! I would probably reduce the olive oil next time and I only used 1/2 chilli which I would increase next time....but in a word delicious! Thanks for the recipe.

This dip was really yummy. I had lots of comments about it. Be ginger when putting in the juice of the lemon. Make sure you taste it as you go. I went full swig and chucked in half a lemons worth and found the dip a bit too lemony (although still yummy, but for next time I won't put in quite so much). Lovely flavours in the dip.
