Rocket & Mint Hommus

  • 1 can chickpeas (rinsed)
  • 60 grams tahini
  • 15 grams lime juice
  • 20 grams rocket
  • 20 grams mint leaves
  • 20 grams Avocado or olive oil, or combination of both
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 clove garlic, (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop garlic (if using) for 4 seconds on speed 7


     

  2. Add all other ingredients and mix on speed for 15 seconds at speed 5, scrape and mix for another 15 seconds at speed 5.

    Very Nice. However I didnt have any Sumac or Tahini.

    Replacements:

    Sumac: 1/2 Lemon Zest and pinch of Salt

    Tahini: Made my own using Tahini a la Thermomix.

    -Its just toasted Sesame Seeds and Oil

    (Used 20% of all measurements and replaced veg oil with peanut oil)
