Warmly Spiced Pumpkin Dip

  • 1kg Kent pumpkin
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/8 cup fresh coriander

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Peel and de-seed the pumpkin and cut into slices and lay them out on your Varoma dish evenly, making sure the wholes aren’t fully covered.
  2. Fill your TM bowl with a litre of water and put your Varoma in place 15 minutes/Varoma/Speed 3
  3. Once your pumpkin is done empty your TM bowl and place in the garlic 5 seconds/Speed 5
  4. Put your olive in and cumin into the TM bowl 3 minutes/100°/Speed 1
  5. Add in your pumpkin and coriander 30 seconds/Speed 5
  6. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container and cover in the fridge to chill before serving.
