Yogurt Marinade for chicken

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 250 g plain yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 level tsp ground cumin, Or to taste
  • 1 level tsp ground paprika, Or to taste
  • 1 level tsp Ground Coriander, Or to taste

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add garlic to bowl and mince 3sec sp 6.
    2. Scrape down side. Add rest of ingredients and mix 5sec sp 3.5.
    3. Coat chicken and refrigerate to marinate from 1 hour to overnight.

Tip

I use plain yoghurt as it's cheaper than Greek.
Chili powder can be added too - I do if kids aren't eating.
