  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 30 g coconut oil
  • 150 g milk chocolate
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g full cream milk

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. This step is not necessary but it gives the hazelnuts a great flavour.

    Roast hazelnuts on oven for 10min at 180C / 350F
  2. If you used hazelnuts with skin transfer them to a clean towel and rub them with the towel to remove all skins[/size]
  3. Place sugar into mixing bowl and mill 10sec/speed 9
  4. Add hazelnuts and milk chocolate and mill 20 sec/speed 4-9 increase speed slowly.

    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl
  5. Add cocoa powder, full cream milk, coconut oil and a pinch of salt and heat 6min/50C/speed 3.
    Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl, mill for 10sec/speed 4-5. Repeat until you get a very smooth mixture.
  6. Allow to cool down and enjoy!

    I wanted to try making my own Nutella style spread and after reviewing them all here decided on this one - and let me tell you this is FANTASTIC! I did blitz at the end about 8 times and although the texture is still slightly gritty, the flavour is superb - This will be perfect for everything...cheesecake, cocktails, brioche...YUM!!
