  • 2tsp tumeric ground
  • 2tsp cinnamon, or add stick in final cook
  • 10 cardoman pods, peeled and crushed
  • 1ltr cold water
  • 1tsp salt
  • 100 sultanas or raisins
  • 50g toasted flaked almonds

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipe's preparation

  1. using automated rice method

    add butter in first step also add tumeric cinnamon and cardoman and salt {omit olive oil and bayleaf)

    then proceed as recipe when you add rice also add sultans and stir through

I sprinkled with toasted amond

makes a lot!! you could add cooked chicken or boiled eggs

    Very tasty. I had to improvise with the spices and I forgot to add the sultanas but it was still really good. Thanks for sharing
