10 Minute Noodle Soup

  • 2 Instant Noodle Cakes, dried
  • water, boiling
  • 1 small onion, peeled
  • 1 carrot, cut into chunks
  • 20 g Coconut Oil or Sesame
  • 50 g frozen peas
  • 50 g Frozen Corn Kernals
  • 100 g Silver beet, Kale or Soinach, can be frozen
  • 1 teaspoon Raw Honey
  • 2 teaspoons TM Stock Concerntrate
  • 3 teaspoons tamari or soy sauce
  • sesame seeds
  • to taste Coriander Leave

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1) First off boil a full kettle of water.

    2) Place onion, carrot and oil in bowl. Chop 5sec/speed 6. Scrape down sides and sautee 5min/Varoma/speed 1.

    3) Add to TM bowl peas, corn, silver beet/kale/spinach, stock, tamari, honey and boiled water till the 2L mark. Cook 1min/100/speed1Counter-clockwise operation

    4) Break up noodle cakes and add them to bowl. Cook 4 mins/100/speed 1 Counter-clockwise operation

    5) Sprinkle with sesame seeds and coriander if using.

    This is so quick and easy! I used dried udon noodles so increased the cooking time a little and also added some frozen corn.
