      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion and garlic in bowl and chop

    3 sec/ speed 7

  2. Add oil and saute

    3 min/ 120 degrees / speed 1

  3. Add water and stock paste into bowl

  4. Place basket into bowl and put potato and broccoli florets into basket, put lid and MC in place and cook 

    18 min/ 120 degrees / speed 1

  5. With spatular remove basket and tip in the potato and broccoli into the stock liquid and blend

    1 min / speed 5 - 9 (increase speed slowly)

  6. Season with salt and paper and serve hot with a swirl of cream
