Chicken noodle soup

Ingredients

1 litre(s)

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 onion, peeled and quartered
  • 2 centimetre Ginger, peeled
  • 10 grams olive oil
  • 1 Corn on the cob, corn removed (discard cob)
  • 1 Chicken breast, sliced thinly
  • 800 grams water
  • 2 heaped tablespoons cornflour
  • 100 grams fried noodles
  • 1 spring onions

Recipe's preparation

  1. Peel and quarter onion, add to bowl with garlic and ginger and chop for 3 seconds on speed 7.  Scrape down sides, add oil and cook for 2 minutes, 100 degrees on speed 1.  

    Add corn, chicken, water and stock and cook for 17 minutes, 100 degrees, REVERSE speed 1.

    Remove a small amount of soup from cooking bowl and add to corn flour in a separate bowl. Mix until a paste forms and add back into the cooking bowl. Add fried noodles and cook for 2 minutes, 100 degrees, REVERSE speed 1.

    Serve with finely sliced spring onions and season with salt and pepper.  Makes approximately 1 litre of soup.
