This was a yummy soup. I tweeked the recipe a little adding 1 carrot, 1 stalk of celery, a medium sized zucchini & the stalk off a stem of broccoli. I wasn't sure about how much a cup of angel hair pasta was so added approx 180g. I stirred in threw the lid a few times to make sure it combined. It made a thick soup which went a long way as I could add water to it to thin it out. During winter I find I am making soup almost every day as the thermomix doesn't hold a lot. This soup will last my husband & I three lunches 👏🏻

Great recipe, easily adaptable. I only used 1 carrot and celery stick and added 1 potato, zucchini and a can of cannellini beans. I omitted the corn because I didn't have any. I also added an extra tbsp of vege stock paste and I used different pasta. It is great served with Parmesan cheese. I'll definitely make this again.

I had to manually stir the chicken both times I've made this it formed a clump in the middle that didn't stir out, leaving raw chicken. As a result I stir after it gets up to 100 degrees temperature and add an extra 5-10 minutes. The soup is lovely though

Delicious. Perth is having some unseasonable cool weather and the soup hit the right spot. I used rice vermicelli instead of the pasta.

We love this dish - hubby has tweaked it and added extra veggies & stock paste) , then we have even just steamed the chicken up in the varoma, then taken the whole lot out (having a very full bowl) into a very large serving bowl, put vermicilli rice noodles into the mix, then chicken into the bowl and shredding it on reverse... then add to the main bowl. Viola, large servings for many people. Also works well with using bone broth if you are that-way inclined tmrc_emoticons.-) (instead of water)

  • Great soup but definately

    Submitted by daniellesukys on 14. April 2015 - 16:50.

Great soup but definately needed some tweaking! I added 3TBSP of stock- 2 chicken and 1 veg (both home made), added 820 of water and put the noodles in when there was 5 minutes to go (as they cook in 2 minutes), if you put them in at the start there are no more noodles left! it just becomes a bit sludgy! but the flavour was great!! Will def be making again! Thankyou!

I wasn't sure either Angela so I ended up adding diced chicken instead.

Very easy and delicious! Just wondering at what step do you shred the chicken? Mine came out whole and I had to take it out and chop it up before serving.

This was a BIG hit with the family. tmrc_emoticons.)

I did not have any celery so did not add that but ddn't seem to matter as it was still very tasty and wholesome. Only thing I would probably change in future is to add a bit more liquid as the noodles really did drink it up.
