Chickpea/bean soup

  • 1 onion brown, cut in half
  • 1 sprig rosemary, fresh

  • 1 can chickpeas or beans, drained

  • 165 grams macaroni, or other small pasta

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Chickpea/bean soup
  1. Put garlic, onion and leaves of rosemary into bowl and chop speed 7, 3 secs, mc on Scrape down and repeat twice.

    Add oil and saute 2 mins, 120, speed 1, mc on

    Add beans, vegetable stock paste and water and cook 10 mins, 100, speed 1, mc on

    Blitz 20 secs turning slowly up to speed 6, mc on

    Add pasta and cook 10 mins, 100, reverse, speed 1, mc on

    Serve hot
