Clam Chowder

Ingredients

Chowder

  • 1 onion, peeled and quartered
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 20 grams Butter
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 8 bacon rashers, sliced
  • 500 grams Milk
  • 250 grams chicken stock
  • 250 grams cream
  • 400 grams clam meat
  • 2 corn cobs, corn sliced off
  • parsley, to garnish

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place garlic and onion in TM bowl. Chop for 3 seconds on speed 6. Scrape down sides.

  2. Add butter and cook at 100 degrees for three minutes on soft speed.

  3. Add bacon. Cook for 2 minutes at 100 degrees, soft speed.  

  4. Add potatoes and stock. Cook at 100 degrees for 20 minutes, soft speed.

  5. Add milk, cream, clams and corn. Cook for 10 minutes at 100 degrees, reverse speed 1. 

  6. Garnish with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
