Chicken cream corned soup

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 15 grams cooking oil
  • 100 grams chicken thigh fillet, cut into strips
  • 420 grams Can creamed corn
  • 2 heaped tsp cornflour (approx 1/3 cup), dissolved in 100grams of water
  • 1 tsp chicken stock
  • 1 egg
  • 500 grams boiled water
  • 30 grams onion, approx. 1/2 a medium onion

Recipe's preparation

    Chicken Creamed Corn Soup
  1. Place garlic and onion in TM bowl and chop it for 5 sec on speed 6 then scrape garlic down

    Add oil and saute for 2 mins at 100 degree on speed 1

    Add chicken and cook for 2 mins at 100 degree Gentle stir setting & Counter-clockwise operation

    Add creamed corn, chicken stock (or vegetable stock) and boiled water and cook for  4 mins at 100 degree on speed 1

    Set 1  minute at 100 degree on speed 1, slowly add cornflour mixture first followed by the egg through opening in the TM

    This is a real simple soup to make. I found half an onion was too much and I used slightly more corn flour  than what the recipe states.

    Less onion next time and it will be perfect!

    I didn't have creamed corn, so I just used a tin of kernels and wizzed it at a higher speed and it worked just as well.
