So delicious. I was sceptical this would be tasty without cream but it's perfect and I can do without the extra fat! I forgot to weigh the pumpkin - just roasted half a butternut and the consistency was good.

I wanted to make an extremely quick and easy soup so i couldnt go past this one.. i weighed 750g pumkin but after i roasted and put it in the thermomix it weighted only 600g, so i added a small diced sweet potato (i wanted to make a slightly bigger qnty) and cooked about 12 minutes. I also roasted my pumpkin with dried rosemary. Turned out beautifully, glossy and smooth served with toasted ciabatta. Yummo

Very happy with this soup. I ended up with 900g pumpkin so just tweeted rest of ingredients to suit my taste and consistency. A winner here.

Nice and easy recipe, I would probably add cumin next time but still tasted good. Very smooth and creamy taste. Will make again.
Thanks Lillo and everyone
Thanks Lillo and everyone else. I agree that the choice of pumpkin is important; I like Jap and Kent pumpkins. i also love AustraIian or Spanish garlic as it's unbleached and the cloves are larger. Good quality ingredients are the key in simple recipes.

Blown away by this magnificent soup...I realise that the pumpkin you use is also of importance, but having just made this, I have a silky smooth full bodied soup with an incredible depth of flavour. I am now going to make (as suggested in teeny winks comment below) the 'Super Soft Grain Free Paleo Bread Rolls' to have with the soup for tea tonight. Lovely change not to be adding cream or milk to make nicer...it just doesn't need it!

I was very dubious as to whether this would really be that yummy considering how few ingredients there are. My only 'issue' is that I should have made a double bathc because it is DELICIOUS!!!!!
