Ham and Cheese Soup
- 1 --- large onion, Peeled and quartered
- 2 clove garlic, Peeled
- 20 g olive oil
- 1 --- carrot, Roughly chopped
- 1 level teaspoons paprika
- 1 level teaspoons mustard
- 2 level tbsp plain flour
- 1 litre chicken stock
- 350 g Kraft Cheddar Block, Diced
- 70 g bacon, Diced
- 350 g ham, Diced
- 200 g Plain Greek Yoghurt
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, Grated

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion,garlic,carrot - speed 5 for 6 seconds
Scrape down sides
Add Olive oil- cook reverse speed 1, 100 degrees for 2 mins
Scrape down sides
Stir in paprika, mustard and flour
Add chicken stock, Kraft cheese and cook on 50 degrees 20mins.
Leave for 1 min and turbo blitz (be extremely careful taking lid off!!)
Add Greek yoghurt and Parmesan- cook 1 min 30 seconds, speed 2 with cup removed
Add salt n pepper to taste if required
