Potato Bacon Leek and Brown Rice Soup

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 --- brown onion, Halved
  • 250 grams Rindless Bacon, Roughly Chopped
  • 1 leek, Roughly Chopped
  • 4-5 nadine potatoes, Peeled Roughly Chopped
  • 70 grams cauliflower
  • 600 grams water
  • 1-2 tablespoon TM veg stock
  • 120 grams Full Fat pouring Cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 200 grams brown rice, Soak prior
  • 700-800 grams water, to cook rice

Recipe's preparation

  1. Soak rice in water

    Place Garlic, Onion, Leek and Bacon in bowl and chop 10 sec/speed6

    Scrape down the sides. Suate on varoma 1minute 30 seconds

    Add potatos, cauliflower stock and water

    Cook 20 minutes/100 degrees/speed 1

    Blend 20 sec/speed 8 Gradually increasing speed from 1

    Add 120g full fat pouring cream Salt and Pepper mix 15 sec/ speed 4

    Place in Thermoserver and prepare rice

    rinse the soaked rice and place in simmering basket

    add water (700-800g) Cook 30-35min/varoma/speed 4

    Use Spatual to remove basket, fluff with fork and add to thermoserver.

    Mix ingredients together and serve with your fav bread


Accessories you need



Serve with crusty bread or pizza pianca

Top with freshly milled parmesan
