If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Hand Chop vegetables into medium size pieces and drizzle with olive oil. (You could chop in the thermomix but need to keep fairly big chunks for roasting)
Place into a roasting tray and roast in the oven for 30 minutes on 180 degrees
Add 500g of water to the thermomix bowl.
Add 2 Tablespoons of vegetable stock.
Tip the roasted vegetables into the thermomix bowl and cook for 20 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1.
Once cooked allow to cool for a while then blend for 20 seconds starting on speed 5 and gradually move to speed 9.
add a pinch of pepper and serve.
