      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

You can use coconut milk instead of cream for a slightly less rich chowder.

If after final 10 seconds, the chowder is too lumpy, give it another 5 more seconds.

If you don't use TMX Vegetable stock, you may need to add salt to taste, depending on how salty your salmon is.

Enjoy x

Really tasty! I had some smoked duck so used that instead. Next time I would use a bit less liquid to make it nice and thick and 'chunky'.
