Zucchini and Bacon Soup
- 1 onion, peeled and quatered
- 3 bacon rashers, roughly chopped
- 1 heaped tablespoons garlic paste
- 10 g oil
- 800 g zucchini, roughly chopped
- 300 g potatoes, sliced thin, 3cm
- 1 litres water
- 2 heaped tablespoons stock paste
- 250 g spinach

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Recipe's preparation
- Step 1: Add bacon, onion, garlic and oil. cook 5m, varoma, s1.
Step 2: Add zucchini, potatoes, water and stock. Cook 30 mins, Varoma, s"Gentle stir setting" . use simmering basket instead of measuring cup.
Step 3: Blitz for 20s s4.
Step 4: mix through spinach, serve with cream and buttered bread

Tip
To make the soup vegetarian, omit the bacon in the first step and use vegie stock
