Cherry and Macadamia Shortbread

Ingredients

24 piece(s)

  • 250 grams Butter
  • 80 grams sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
  • 330 grams plain flour
  • 50 grams rice
  • 150 grams Macadamia Nut
  • 150 grams glace cherries

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1) Place rice in TM and mill 2 minutes sp10. Put aside 

  2. 2) Add Nuts. Chop 3 secs sp5. Add cherries chop further 2 sec. Place aside 

  3. 3)Insert butterfly. Add butter, sugar and vanilla. 1 min sp 4.

  4. 4) Remove butterfly, scrape down sides. Add both flours. Dough mode 1 min. Add cherries and nuts. Dough mode further 1 min. 

  5. 5) Roll into log, wrap in baking paper and freeze for 1 hour.  Meanwhile preheat oven to 170 degrees. Slice off into 1 cm thick pieces. Bake 25 min or until golden.
