- 180 g Butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 g chocolate
- 300 g plain flour
- pinch salt
- 1 package chocolate sprinkles

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
- Grate chocolate 3 sec/sp 6. Scrape down sides.
- Melt chocolate 2 min/50d/sp 1.
- Add sugar & butter, mix 30 sec/sp 3.5
- Beat egg & vanilla through 10 sec/sp3.5
- Fold through flour & salt 10 sec/sp 3. Scrape sides down. Repeat if necessary.
- Chill for 1 hour.
- Using a teaspoon shape mixture into balls.
- Roll balls in chocolate sprinkles and place on lined oven tray.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool on rack.
Pre heat oven to 190 degrees.
Accessories you need
Use a good quality chocolate not compounded chocolate. My preference is Old Gold Original.
