Mexican Chocolate and Banana Cupcakes

  • 4 piece La Neta Chocolate, Traditional Mexican Chocolate Tablets, the cinnamon is perfect for this!
  • 150 g Flour, Plain
  • 1 tablespoons baking powder
  • 120 g Salted butter
  • 3 --- eggs
  • 100 g Coconut sugar, Can be substituted for brown or raw sugar. If using white sugar use only 50g
  • 2 --- ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoons natural vanilla extract, Optional for extra flavour
  • 1 pinches salt

Recipe's preparation

    Sensational cupcakes, nothing artificial, easy to make!
  1. Preheat oven at 180°
  2. Put the La Neta Chocolate into bowl and shred for 10 seconds at speed 6 until you get granules and powder. Remove and put in a small bowl.
  3. Put flour, baking powder, eggs, sugar, bananas, butter and salt in bowl and mix for 15 seconds at speed 6 until combined.
  4. Add chocolate and mix for 10 seconds at speed 5 until mixed through.
  5. Place into cupcake moulds (grease if necessary or use patty pans) and bake for 20mins. Cool completely before demoulding.

Tip

You can vary the flavour with additional cinnamon or ground almonds.

    I like the dark chocolate cinnamon one the best!
