  • These are THE best!...

Submitted by Queen Beanz on 16. July 2023 - 20:02.

    These are THE best!
I blitz 100g oats, 40g sunflower seeds first to get extra goodness (use SRF for the rest...roughly 90g)..super healthy for a "naughty" snack!
Also half the sugar- exchange for milo.
    Yummmooooo!

Reduced sugar to 110grams and increased Milo to 80grams. Added a handful of white choc-chips and mixed on reverse so choc-chips didnt get chopped up. Added sprinkles to about half the batch. Kids loved them!

Made these for my friends and I still get rave reviews about how good they are! Doubled the milo, halved the sugar and added some milk chocolate melts and they're to die for, put them in the oven for 11 minutes so they're all nice and goey. Cooking 7

    Submitted by Dibbysue on 28. July 2016 - 13:38.

Yummo! I made with with all sorts of subs as I needed to make something ASAP and didn't have everything. So halved sugar as others have done, used butter and some random "butter" type stuff left from a houseguest, used a combo of drinking chocolate powder and nesquick, and added some 100s & 1000's on top as a treat. So quick and easy! Thanks for the recipe!

  • Just made these for a second

    Submitted by cavoodle on 19. October 2015 - 23:00.

Just made these for a second time, I doubled the milo, reduced the sugar, added an extra egg and cranked up the temp of the oven to 200 for most of the cooking. The result is the biscuits don't spread as much and they have a nice crunch. I also threw in half a packet of white choc chips. I liked them before but I really liked them better this time around tmrc_emoticons.)

    Submitted by rachelanne83 on 24. September 2015 - 16:09.

not bad. not amazing but i think think the kids will like them when they get home from school . i made a double batch and used the suggestions so i halved the sugar and doubled the milo. I think that worked out well as there not too sweet. I used raw sugar. Main issue and its highly likely that its because i double the mixture i found it really hard for the mix to mix it all in together.

    Submitted by Megsy13 on 9. August 2015 - 19:10.

Delicious! Made according to recipe, but will follow the comments next time, and halve the sugar / double the milo.  Even still - they are really good.  Got the tick of approval from all members of the family.

They do spread quite a lot, so make sure you space them well apart on the trays.  And if you leave them to cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack, they don't end up looking like something created by Salvador Dali Big Smile

    Submitted by LynneBaillie on 16. July 2012 - 17:25.

My Mum used to bake these alot and I loved them.  She always added in a handful of sultanas, so I guess if you do that, you'd have to put it on reverse to mix them in without chopping them.  Or just mix them in with the spoon?
