- 100 grams coconut oil, liquid
- 140 grams honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 75 grams Quinoa flakes

- 50 grams dessicated coconut

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Grease and line a rectangular tray (28cm x 20cm) with baking paper or use silicone snack bar moulds.
If the coconut oil is not liquid, place the coconut oil into the Thermomix bowl and melt on 40ºC/ 1 minute (or until melted)/ Speed 2.
Add honey and mix for 30 sec/ SP2.
Add vanilla paste, cinnamon and salt and mix 5 sec/ SP 4.
Add rolled oats, coconut, mix seeds, tapioca flour and puffed rice. Mix 10 sec/ "Counter-clockwise operation" SP 2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and repeat.
Add the chocolate chips and mix for another 10 sec/ "Counter-clockwise operation" SP2.
Pour the mixture into the prepared tray or silicone moulds and press down firmly and evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until just golden. Allow to cool completely before cutting into slices.
Preheat the oven to 160ºC.

Tip
You can swap seeds for nuts; tapioca flour for wheat flour and quinoa and rice flakes for oats if there is not a dietary restriction.
