      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Preparing Dough
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Into TM bowl, place sugar, butter, margarine and eggs.  Mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds.

  2. Scrape down sides then add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt to TM bowl and mix on speed 6 for 20 seconds.

  3. Mix the sugar coating ingredients together in a small bowl.

  4. Using your hands, shape the dough into small balls, approximately 1 1/4 inches and roll in the sugar coating.

  5. Place the balls on a baking tray (I don't greece it) 2 inches apart, then bake in the oven for 10 mins.

  6. Once cooked place on a wire rack to cool before enjoying!

I like to use raw sugar for the dough and white sugar for the coating.
