1) Turn on oven to 180 degrees and line baking trays.
2) Put butter, sugar, milk, vanilla essence, baking soda and golden syrup into bowl. 3mins, 100 degrees, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2.
3) Add flour and sultanas. 30 sec, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2.
4) Roll into small balls and press down with a fork.
5) Bake for about 14 mins. (10mins for soft, 20 mins for a biscuit to dunk in your tea).

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
