      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1) Turn on oven to 180 degrees and line baking trays.

    2) Put butter, sugar, milk, vanilla essence, baking soda and golden syrup into bowl. 3mins, 100 degrees, Counter-clockwise operation speed 2.

    3) Add flour and sultanas. 30 sec, Counter-clockwise operation speed 2.

    4) Roll into small balls and press down with a fork.

    5) Bake for about 14 mins. (10mins for soft, 20 mins for a biscuit to dunk in your tea).

    The kids loved these! Great for lunchboxes. I used a 160 degree temp fan forced. Mine were ready in 12 minutes. They were quite sweet so may use a little less sugar next time. Thanks for sharing.
