      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease and line a loaf tin.
  2. Add butter to TM bowl and melt on 37 degrees, Speed 1 for 1 minute or until butter has melted.
  3. Weigh all ingredients into the bowl and mix together on Speed 4 for 30 seconds or until well combined.
  4. Pour ingredients into prepared loaf tin
  5. Bake for 40minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
    Allow to cool in loaf tin before slicing.

Tip

Delicious toasted and served with butter or peanut butter!
Depending how sweet you make it, it can be used with various toppings. Try adding cinnamon as well as sweetener for a festive spice cake.
