Fructose-Free Custard

Ingredients

2 portion(s)

Custard

  • 60 grams DEXTROSE POWDER
  • 50 grams cornflour
  • 500 grams Milk (Any)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Exract, or Essence

Recipe's preparation

    To make the custard
  1. Place cornflour and dextrose powder into TM bowl and pulverise for 10 seconds on speed 9. Scrape down inside sides of bowl.

    Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 7 minutes at 90°c on speed4.

    Once custard has cooked, serve in bowls with fruit (if you want).

Tip

Want a thinner consistency, only add 30g cornflour.

Want a chocolate custard add 20g cocoa in first step.

Can be served cold - refrigerate for at least an hour in covered container.

    This is a lovely thick custard, not too sweet. I guess you would use less cornflour if you want a pouring custard.
