- 50 grams almonds
- 20 grams sunflower seeds
- 20 grams pepitas
- 2 bananas, halved
- 2 free range eggs
- 1 Handful baby spinach
- 100 grams Coconut Milk or Cream
- Coconut Oil for Cooking
- pure organic maple syrup
- sliced banana
- sliced strawberry
- grated organic dark chocolate
- EDC Strawberry Jam
- Basic Cookbook Butter

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Add Almonds, Sunflower seeds & pepitas to TM Bowl, 10 sec/speed 10.
Add Bananas, Eggs, Baby spinach, Coconut milk, 10 sec spd 6.
Add coconut oil to frypan, cook immediately and serve.
***ADDED NOTE*** I have added 1/2 - 1tbsp Psyllium husks to the mix and let it stand for a few minutes before cooking, thickens up the mix, makes it easy to flip and is added fibre for the kids
MAKE IT FUN! Chop your toppings into different shapes, serve the toppings in fun bowls for kids to choose their own. I even named the pancakes "[favourite character] cakes" My kids don't even know they are getting such a wonderful array of healthy food and I'm not going to tell them...(just yet)
My son loves Disney Cars, so we call them "Cars cakes" and serve them on a Cars plate.
Accessories you need
*Need to be Gentle when cooking as they can fall apart a little easier than flour filled pancakes*
For kids with colour sensitivities, try to substitute the "green" spinach for a different colour healthy food such as:
"pink" strawberry or beetroot
