      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add Almonds, Sunflower seeds & pepitas to TM Bowl, 10 sec/speed 10.

Add Bananas, Eggs, Baby spinach, Coconut milk, 10 sec spd 6.

Add coconut oil to frypan, cook immediately and serve.

  2. ***ADDED NOTE*** I have added 1/2 - 1tbsp Psyllium husks to the mix and let it stand for a few minutes before cooking, thickens up the mix, makes it easy to flip and is added fibre for the kids tmrc_emoticons.-)

  4. MAKE IT FUN! Chop your toppings into different shapes, serve the toppings in fun bowls for kids to choose their own. I even named the pancakes "[favourite character] cakes" My kids don't even know they are getting such a wonderful array of healthy food and I'm not going to tell them...(just yet)

My son loves Disney Cars, so we call them "Cars cakes" and serve them on a Cars plate.

*Need to be Gentle when cooking as they can fall apart a little easier than flour filled pancakes*

For kids with colour sensitivities, try to substitute the "green" spinach for a different colour healthy food such as:

"pink" strawberry or beetroot

"Orange" carrot

"purple" blueberries.
