Pineapple upside down cake
- 1 can pineapple slice, canned
- 2 level tbsp Butter
- 80 grams brown sugar
- 1 level tbsp golden syrup
- 70 grams Butter
- 115 grams white sugar
- 1 --- egg, Cold
- 1 level tsp vanilla essence
- 180 grams plain flour
- 1.25 level tsp baking powder
- 110 grams pineapple juice

Recipe is created for

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Set oven to 160 degs
Drain pineapple slices and keep reserved juice
1. Melt the butter, brown sugar and golden syrup together for 3 minutes at sp 1 on reverse at 50 degs.
(check during duration to ensure even melting)
2. Pour into base of dish (17x27)
place pineapple pieces on top.
3. Blend together for 30 sec on sp 3; butter, white sugar, egg and vanilla
4. Add plain flour and baking powder, blend for 10 secs sp 4
Scrape down edges and base
Blend again for 10 sec sp 4 until flour is incorporated.
5. Add reserved juice and stir for 20 secs on sp 4.
6. Pour over top and bake for 30 minutes until golden.
7. Total amounts will vary pending how big each serving is.
