- 500 g sausages
- 1 onion, cut into quarters
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon crushed ginger, or use 2cm of fresh ginger
- 2-3 tablespoons Curry paste, your choice **see note**
- 1 package chicken noodle soup
- 50 g coconut milk powder, **see note**
- 1.2 litres water
- 100 g thickened cream
- 1/2 red capsicum, thinly sliced
- 100 g mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 200 g broccoli, broken into florets
- 2 handfuls baby spinach

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Add 800g water into TM bowl and place whole sausages into simmering basket. Sit basket into TM bowl and cook for 20 minutes/100°C/speed 4
Once cooked, drain the sausages, reserving 40g of water in TM bowl and discard the rest, set aside to cool and chop into pieces.
Place onion, garlic and ginger into TM bowl an chop for 3 seconds on speed 7. Scrape down the sides.
Add curry paste and cook for 3 mins/100C/speed 1 with MC OFF
Add soup, coconut milk powder, cream, 400g water, capsicum, mushrooms, broccoli and sausages, cook for 15 minutes/100°C/reverse/soft speed
With 2 minutes to go, add a handful of baby spinach leaves, or place in to thermoserver then pour sausages over the top and stir through spinach.
Serve with mash potato or rice
