Beef in Black Bean
- 1 level teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 level tablespoons cornflour
- 2 tablespoons Black Bean Sauce
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- 1 pinch cayanne pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable stock
- 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 level teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 level teaspoon sesame oil
- 2cm piece ginger
- 1 piece garlic
- 600g beef strips (rump steak)
- 1 red capsicum
- 4 sping onions
- 1 brown onion

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Roughly cut capsicum, carrot, sping onions and brown onion (peel and cut in half.
2. Place in bowl and chop on speed 4.5 for ten seconds.
3. Put vegetables in another dish to the side.
4. Place ginger and garlic in thermomix. Chop on speed 6 for 5 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula.
5. Add the cornflour, soy sauce, black bean sauce, white wine, cayanne pepper, vegetable stock, peanut oil, sugar and sesame oil. Mix for ten seconds at speed 4.5.
6. Add sliced beef to the bowl and cook for ten minutes at 100 degrees on stir.
7. Add the remainding vegetables and cook for a further 10 minutes at 100 degrees on stir.
8. Serve hot with rice or by itself.
