    Delicious!
I have made this multiple times. It is my 'go to' beef curry recipe. Sometimes I add the chilli sometimes I don't, it's just as wonderful without it, I also halve the curry powder for my fussy children. Served on rice or mash with brocollini. YUM!
I do find it makes a lot of sauce but I use the leftover sauce with browned beef mince and make easy mince pies.
    Thanks for this awesome recipe.

Very nice flavours. I mixed everything up in the thermo. Browned the beef in a pan and threw it all into a slow cooker. I added sweet potato and carrot and served with naan bread. Delicious! Thanks for sharing.

ms-muse:MC (measuring cup) I just use any cream I have on hand - this is our go to curry recipe. Today I’ve made it using pure cream, other times have used thickened cream of cooking cream.

Submitted by Tracy Leard on 13. May 2019 - 22:49.

I made this 2 weeks ago. The beef I had added was just sooooo tough. I cooked it for an extra hour the next day but it was just no good. But we really liked the sauce.

So so I tried again tonight using chuck steak I had in the freezer. I only had 600g of beef so I added some pumpkin and potato after it had been cooking for 15 mins and some peas when I added the cream with only half an hour to go.

After trying it the first time, I used 3 birds eye chillies with the seeds left in this time round as we both like it quite spicy.

I still have quite a bit of sauce left over so I intend browning some mince and adding it to the sauce to make so meat curry pies in my pie maker.

I also served up with some yogurt which really added to the curry. This dish is definately on my favourites list.

I enjoyed the curry, but it was way too hot for my kids (6 & 4) and I only added 2 tbspn curry powder left the chillis out! Next time I would use only 2 tspns of curry powder and use the babas curry powder, not standard curry powder.

Really great! Hubby is very fussy but he actually wanted more of this. It made enough for two dinners so I froze half. I used 2 tablespoons of Babas curry powder and only 1 fresh chilli and it wasn't hot. This will definitely be going on my rotation.

Ran out of beef stock paste so added 2 teaspoons of vegemite! Also used 1 tablespoon of Babas Meat Curry powder and 2 of Clive of India, as that's what I had. We all thought it could be a tad hotter though, including 9 year old, and would add an extra chilli next time. 👍😊

I made this today, only change I made was smaller quantity of beef (709g) and only 1 onion. Hey also switched the cream with light coconut milk (it’s all I had on hand) it’s super tasty although I used babas meat curry powder and so it’s probably a bit spicy to give to the toddlers... oh and I also left out the fresh Chilli

Comments helpful too - 400+ can't be wrong!! There is a lot of "wriggle room" here.
We kept chilli seeds in and it was like a 'medium' from our local Indian – but I now prefer this! Meat is SO tender (I did 30 more mins); Bubba's curry. Now. If only I could master Naan ....
