Very disappointed 😔 looked nothing like the picture what so ever, looked like oily creamy that was completely runny like water. Pork ended up being in almost minced pieces. Would not recommend making this one

    This tasted amazing
I added 2 tablespoons of corn flour when I added the pork, also used coconut milk instead of the cream, and added thin slices of leek.
    Turned out perfect.

Easy recipe and good flavour. Mine was a bit salty but it was probably my stock paste, so next time I'll halve the stock. It is a runny dish but the sauce is good! Thanks for the recipe.

The flavour was nice... Like previous comments there was heaps of thin sauce and I cut my cream back to 100g, have you tried adding a little bit of cornflour?

Thanks for the recipe. The flavours were really nice and tasted lovely with the potato mash. However, it was very runny and the meat came out rather over cooked. Not sure what I did wrong? I followed the recipe to the letter. The meat was diced pork from the butcher and I specifically requested meat for a stroganoff type dish.

Made this for the first time tonight. It was super easy to make and I'll definately make it again. However, I might use apple juice instead of wine next time, to give it a bit more flavour for the kids. Might also bulk it up with some potato. Thanks for the recipe tmrc_emoticons.-)

    Submitted by Mypatrol on 13. April 2015 - 07:03.

Really enjoyed this - there was a bit of liquid so I added a paste of plain flour & butter to thicken (I find corn flour sometimes goes a bit jellyish the next day) I kept the left over sauce for later use & it didn't last very longtmrc_emoticons.) thanks for a simple yet tasty recipe.

Originally there was no water in it and people said it was too grainy and now it is too runny. My suggestion is to experiment with the amounts and modify the recipe to suit you. Sorry for all the inconvenience.

  • Tasted good but far too much

Submitted by Lana Gough on 1. February 2015 - 16:50.

Tasted good but far too much liquid (too runny). I would have rated it 2 stars but my Ms 12 really liked it so on that basis I gave it 3 stars. I'll give it another try with no water added... Also, even though I cooked it about 10 minutes longer to ensure tender meat I thought (and my Ms 3 agreed, haha) that the meat was a bit tough. I'll have to buy my meat from the butcher next time and not just from the supermarket!

    Submitted by Laraco on 30. November 2014 - 21:34.

Not quite what I expected. the sauce turned our really runny and I didn't even add the water, was not very creamy at all. I found there was a lot of oil in it which just sat on the top. Would definitely steam the veggies next time as they came out very soft. Did cook the meat for a further 5 mins which made it very tender. Overall I was a bit disappointed in this one did not resemble the pic at all  tmrc_emoticons.(

Lovely flavour but I found the pork was very tough, would this have been the cut I used (pre-diced pork for the supermarket)? Also, we substituted cream for coconut cream and there was no coconutty flavour for anyone who wants to paleo-fy the recipe.
