Garlic Lamb & Vegetables with Parsnip Curls

Ingredients

4 portion(s)

  • 700-800 g diced lamb
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 cm piece ginger peeled
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 1 red chilli
  • 60 g rice wine vinegar
  • 20 g soy sauce
  • 40 g hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 30 g cornflour
  • 10 g Raw Honey
  • 1 Parsnip - peeled & curled, (I use the peeler out of Thermomix Toolkit to get nice thick curls)
  • 1 Handful roughly chopped cabbage
  • 1 zuchinni, roughly chopped

Recipe's preparation

    Garlic Lamb & Vegetables & Parsnip Curls
  1. Add the garlic, ginger & chilli to the TM Bowl and chop for 3 seconds | Speed 6, scrape down the sides of the bowl and chop for another 3 seconds | Speed 6

     

    Add the butterfy, oil & the lamb and cook for 10 minutes | Varoma | Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting

     

    Remove the butterfly, add the rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, cornflour, honey, parsnip, cabbage & zuchinni and cook fpr 5 minutes | Varoma | Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting

     

    If you would like a thinner sauce mix, add 60g water when you add the vegetables

    Not sure where I went wrong!!! Tasted amazing. But my meat was quite tough.

    Really tasty dish, a great combination of flavours tmrc_emoticons.) I missed out the chilli so the kids would eat it.  The sauce turned out a bit thick, definately add the extra water.  I gave it an extra 5 minutes cooking time as the parsnips were a bit crunchy.  Very nice, thank you tmrc_emoticons.)
