      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Allow pastry time to defrost (or make EDC pastry).

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Add 1000 grams of water to bowl, 20 grams oil and teaspoon of salt.

Measure rice in simmering basket.  Cook 16 mins/100 degrees/Speed 3.

Remove simmering basket (allow rice to cool) and rinse bowl.

Chop apple and onion in bowl 3 seconds/speed 7.

Add parsley, salt, pepper, curry powder, egg, sausage meat and rice to bowl.  20 seconds/Counter-clockwise operation/Speed 3 (or until well mixed).

Lay out sheets of pastry and put half mixture on both.

Roll up and place on lined oven tray.  Partially cut each roll into 8 pieces.

Dust with milk and sprinkle parmesan cheese and sesame seeds on top.

Cook in oven for about 40 minutes (or until golden brown on top and cooked in the middle).
