Recipe's preparation

Lamb Chops - Devilled Wine Chops
  1. the Lamb Chops need to have had the "bones removed" and any excess fat also,  and then be diced into bit size pieces so it is easier to eat,  or of cause you could use any cut of Lamb in this recipe.

Place Garlic in TM bowl, chop, speed 7, 2 seconds,

Add the onion, celery, carrot and chop, Press "Turbo" once or twice,   Scrap down the sides and check it has all been chopped to your liking,  they do not need to be small pieces,  they can stay a little chunky !

Add all the other ingredients (not the lamb),  blend on Speed 5, Rev, 5 seconds to combine all that is in the bowl,  cook this lot for 10 min, 100o, Rev, speed 2.

Add the lamb and stir with your spatula to separate the meat and combine it a little,  cook for 30 min, 80o, RevCounter-clockwise operation, speed 1 (the ingredients in the bowl must be kept moving),  you may need to adjust the cooking time to ensure your meat is cooked.

Serve 4 (very well), serve with pasta or rice or even steamed potatoes.

    Enjoy !

No wine in the recipe for wine chops?

All ingredients only just fit in TM5 so dunno how this could fit in a TM31.  Should that be 420g soup rather than 820g?

Lamb at top was not cooked - suggest a bit longer cooking time on revCounter-clockwise operation.  Forequarter chop meat gets rubbery if they're thin - suggest lamb chunks.

This was a tasty dish.  I cheated a bit - could not be bothered to bone the chops, so put them in a baking dish.  Made the sauce and poured it over and baked in the oven. Delicious.  Had sauce left over which I saved to use over something else.

  • This was really delicious!

This was really delicious! The first time I cooked it, I used the forequarter chops but after spending AGES cutting the meat from the bones, and trimming all the fat off, I vowed NEVER to use them again.  However, because it was so yummy, we tried the recipe again, this time with lamb steaks.  MUCH better!!! tmrc_emoticons.)

Yum, used red wine and tinned tomatoes instead of  condensed tomatoe soup which I had ran out of!
