Recipe is created for
TM 5
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation
- Pour oats into
"Closed lid" and blitz on turbo for 1 second. Pour oats into a bowl to re add later.
- Place garlic, onions and parsley leaves to
"Closed lid" and chop 10 seconds speed 6.
- Scrape down sides of bowl. Add Woestershire sauce, eggs, oats, stock and mince. Knead
"Dough mode" for about 1 min or until combined.
- Heat deep sided frypan with olive oil on moderate heat. Roll meat mixture into 5cm balls. Turn occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.
- Add pasta sauce to meatballs and stir occasionally. Turn heat down to low and allow to simmer for about 30 min. If you have a lid to fit the frypan use during the simmering stage.
- While the meatballs are simmering cook some mashed potato/pasta/rice.
* Meatballs go well with Mashed potato, Pasta, Rice (Cauliflower rice or Zoodles for a low carb/calorie option).
Enjoy!
