Mel's Lazy Chicken Chow Mein

Ingredients

4 portion(s)

  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g Frozen Cantonese Stir Fry Vegetables
  • 500 g chicken thighs, Thinly sliced, then halved
  • 1.5 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp raw sugar
  • 500 g hot water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable stock concentrate
  • .5 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 220 g Thin Egg Noodles

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Chop garlic 5 Sec, Speed 9.

     

    2. Add Oil &  Frozen Cantonese Stir Fry Vegetables.

         Cook Varoma, 6 minutes Counter-clockwise operation Speed 1

     

    3. Add all other ingredients except for noodles.

         Cook Varoma, 15 minutes Counter-clockwise operation Speed 1

     

    4. Add Egg Noodles, 2 minutesCounter-clockwise operation Speed 1

Tip

I'm sure you can use fresh veges for this and chop them, maybe just reduce the cooking time in step 2.

Can omit sugar and substiture oil for water if you are looking to make it lower in calories.

    Nice and easy to make and flavour was really lovely. I made the mistake of using fresh egg noodles and not precooking them so they were sticky and gluggy so now I know better for next time tmrc_emoticons.)
