My Daughter's favourite Lamb Curry
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 35 grams ginger, approx. 3cm
- 35 grams garlic, approx. 10 cloves
- 150 grams red onion, halved
- half chilli, Optional
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 6 cardamon pods
- 10 Curry Leaves, Optional
- 1 tablespoon oil, I use Alpha Bran Oil
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 200 grams tomato puree, I use Mutti tinned tomatoes
- 1000 grams Lamb Chops, Cut into thirds by your butcher and trimmed of fat by yourself.
- 100 grams water

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add Cumin and Salt to a dry bowl for 2 minutes, Speed 10, MC in.
- Ginger, Garlic and Onion go into the bowl for 3 seconds, Speed 7, MC in. Scrape down the bowl.

Tip
Add Salt and Chilli to personal taste.
This lamb curry is budget friendly and is best served with Roti or Rice and eaten with your fingers!
