Meat Mixture

  • 800 g minced meat, pork
  • 300 g prawn flesh, cut into cubes

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Meat Preparation
  1. 1. Mix Ingredients A into TM bowl and blitz at speed 5 for 5 seconds.

    2. Then, add in the minced meat and prawn flesh cubes. Blitz for 1 minute at speed 10 after adding in 1 tsp of pepper.

    3. Lastly, season with salt and light sauce.

  3. 1. Wipe both sides of the dry beancurd skin with a damp cloth. 

    2. Cut the dry beancurd skin into 6''x4'' pieces.

    3. Place about 2 and a half tbsp of meat filling in the lower half of the skin, leaving a small gap at the bottom and at the sides.

    4. Fold the bottom flap up to cover the meat filling and dab the sides with water. Then, fold in the sides and roll. 

    5. To finish, dab a bit more water at the ends of the beancurd skin before rolling it up.

  5. 1. Steam before deep frying.
