Paleo Spaghetti Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 8 sprigs fresh parsley
  • 8 sprigs fresh chives
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 500 grams grass fed Beef mince
  • Salt and pepper

Sauce

  • 1 clove fresh garlic
  • 1 Large Brown Onion
  • 30 grams Butter, Coconut oil or Olive Oil, Which ever you prefer.
  • 6 sprigs fresh parsley, (flat-leaf parsley)
  • 6 fresh basil leaves
  • 3 sprigs fresh oregano
  • 2 sprigs fresh Thyme or Rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 500 grams Chopped or Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable stock paste, Thermomix recipe.
  • 60 - 80 grams red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Arrowroot or Corn Flour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Meatballs
  1.  Place herbs and garlic in bowl chop 5 sec/speed 6. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if herbs are not chopped.

  2. Add all remaining Meatballs ingredients combine 10sec/Counter-clockwise operation/ speed 5.

  3.  Roll meatballs to preferred size and place on veroma and veroma tray, leaving room for the steam to come through. Set aside and rinse bowl to start sauce.

  5. Place onion and garlic in bowl 5 sec/speed 6. Add oil then saute 3min/ 110 degrees/ speed 1.

     

  6. Add all fresh herbs to mixture and chop 6 sec/speed 6.

     

  7. Place corn/arrowroot flour and red wine in the MC or a cup measure to dissolve. Then add to the mixing bowl along with all other ingredients. 

     

  8. Place veroma (meatballs) into position cook 14min/veroma/speed 1.

     

  9.  Meanwhile spiralise zucchini and carrot.

     

     

    After the sauce and meatballs have been cooking for 14mins, transfer all meatballs to the veroma tray and place Zoodles/Spiralised vegetables in the Veroma. Cook for an additional 6 min/veroma/speed1.

     

    Serve and Enjoy!

    easy and delicious, I used a little less meat and added a few mushrooms and quarter zucchini into meatballs with one egg.
