Great recipe. Use this sauce when making lasagne as well. Good way of getting vegetables into the children without them knowing.

This is my go to recipe for pasta bolognese, minus the mushrooms.  I cook my pasta separate in a saucepan.  Thanks for sharing.  All my kids gobble this up.

  • This is similar to an old

    Submitted by Wanda on 22. April 2015 - 14:19.

This is similar to an old Annabel Karmels recipe I used to make before I had a thermomix. Add some blasamic vinegar and brown sugar after chopping the vegies and let it soak in. Also add some fresh basil. I also find a bit of celery intead of capsicum tastes better. Then it is not so bland. tmrc_emoticons.-) A regular in my house!

    Submitted by Asharundel on 19. February 2015 - 22:43.

Easy and convenient with lots of hidden veges but we found it quite bland. Will try again with more herbs.

I made this last night Rachael and added the 200g of zucchini and it worked out fine  tmrc_emoticons.;)

It was very quick and easy and extremely yummy...I did, however, add some parsley and Italian herbs but otherwise followed the recipe exactly...good stuff!!
