Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. In a separate bowl place the couscous and pour the dissolved chicken stock liquid over it. Once liquid has dissolved fluff up couscous with a fork.
2. Place onion, garlic, coriander and basil into mixing bowl and chop 5 secs/ speed 7. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if needed.
3. Add 500g mince, curry powder, couscous mixture and salt and pepper to taste. Mix 10 secs/speed 5. Form mixture into balls of approximately 4 cms in diameter and place on lightly greased varoma tray. Set aside.
4. Place water into mixing bowl and a pinch of salt, pour rice into simmering basket and wash until water runs clear. Insert basket into mixing bowl. Place vegetables into varoma dish and place into position with tray. Cook 20 mins/varoma/speed 4. Check to see that everything is cooked. Can remove rice and cooked meatballs and vegetables for longer if required.
5. To serve place rice first, then vegetables followed my meatballs on top. Can be served with Tomato Onion gravy on top.
